Brooklyn Gaming Club... Interested?

Postby IceBlue » Tue Oct 23, 2012 10:25 pm

Hey guys, a good friend of mine has a huge auditorium space that we have been using for gaming twice weekly. So far we have about 6 people (all 40k) but we really want to beef up the amount of members in the NYC area! We got permission to place flyers in a few hobby shops and hope this post helps as well! The space can fit about 30 4x10 tables. Its located in Greenwood, Brooklyn at a very safe clean laid back environment. Get back to me if anyone here would be interested! Thanks

I'd check it out - I'm also not far away.

Definitely interested. I would say at least half our club's members are from Brooklyn. First and foremost where is it located exactly? The car-less want to scope out the commute.

I was just thinking that depending on where this is, the Strat is actually "closer"

Always looking for a weekend spot though.

Its a few blocks from the D train at the Stillwell Station stop. Currently our games have been played whenever we are free to play them. So we are working on a schedule for the public.

What days during the week would you guys want to play? We'd want to it be a day that wouldnt over lap 40k nights at Complete Strategist or other clubs we don't know of. Just so that players have more options in the week play.

I'm confused... 'Greenwood' is normally defined as the area between Greenwood Cemetery and the Gowanus Bay.

Stillwell avenue is all the way down by Coney Island!
