Eldar: The Cashgrab

Sweet Jesus.

So I realize whining about GW prices is just par for the course in this hobby, but dear lord the upcoming Eldar release has to be the most insane price-grab ever.

- Buying the full Eldar rules is $100. They're releasing two books - the Eldar Codex, and the Iyanden Supplement. Both books are $50/each. We have joked for years about $100 codexes. Well ~ it's here.
- The new giant wraith-robot is $115.
- Dire Avengers double in price. Same models, new package.

Eldar: The Cashgrab

The dire avengers more than anything else shocks me.

Jet bikes and wraithguard actually went down in price. The reboxed bikes are 3 for 40 instead of 15 each. The new wraithguard set is a 9 dollar drop from the previous finecast version.

That supplement better be amazing for $50. I bet Templars will be a similar story to iyanden when marines are rereleased.
Fast, like kittens with jetpacks.

It's pretty, I think. And rumor has it at least the air superiority version is very well armed and has the vector dancer rule. No idea about armor/points yet.
