Heavy Support Riptides!

Oh man.. riptide army! Heavy Support, 260pt base cost with +1W, +1T and a regular 4+invuln against shooting (still 5+ against CC) Those submunition cannons are crazy, and the nova ability to boost it to 4 shots a round gives you 4 scattering large blasts that hit at either S6/7/8 with AP3 and cause double wounds to bulky/bikes/cav. Also comes with a flechette discharger built in and the old double shot secondary weapon nova now is an area haywire explosion around the base of the riptide at S2AP5 (pretty situational)

Downside is it losses the secondary weapon systems, jump pack, and can't be used for anti-air at all.. but what the hell.

And this is exactly why people roll their eyes when someone wants to use Forgeworld shit.

Ha I know, and in this case I 100% couldn't agree more.

I'm hoping these "experimental" rules get waaaay toned down for the actual usable version one day. Those cannons are just absurd.
