Apparently IC's can deploy in a Drop POD before deployment. BIG thing for the Templars' EC...

Thats actually a better FAQ than the FAQs that just came out.

The only thing is, this doesn't force non-UKGT tournies to adopt those same answers/clarifications.

Holy crap, it IS a better FAQ than the recent official ones. That means DP-deployed Servo-Harnessed Terminator-Wearing Techmarines! Schweet!

Too bad I don't live in f*cking Nottingham. :x

Wow, sweet FAQ.

Nidal, your "make units disappear with tankshock" tactic is mentioned, makes me wonder if people were trying to actually pull that off in games.

Man, psycannons in cover, drop pods, skimmers, everything is addressed.

Awesome... I'm printing this out and bringing it to tournaments, even if it isn't official in the US, it answers too many questions to just ignore...

This thing my be bigger than the other FAQs, but it's just as bad. About 25% of it is in direct conflict with the rules.

Good luck getting people to follow it. Particularly since it says it was written by the Events manager, and not a design team member.

And notice they changed the chaos gift rules so that gifts no longer count against the daemonic gift limit, just wargear.

Oh you can make some nasty daemon princes now!

Yeah, it's too bad, so many good things in there, but some that are just way off. My personal favorites are:
1. not actually answering what happens if a base is bigger than a blast marker
2. Copping out on answering last man standing vs summoning
3. Independent characters/MC's splitting their attacks
4. Range being measured from vehicles weapon mounting
5. Cover saves from mind war
6. Daemon princes that can fit every option possible

Add it all up and you get another fine GW rules update. =)

Hey, I'll take what I can get, at least this thing addresses some of the issues we've talked about...

Though I agree, some of the rules there are blatently against what the rules state, so it's actually just one guy's interpretation of the rules rather than anything legitimate.
