Postby njpc » Tue Oct 12, 2010 8:42 am

I know its a hike for you guys at time, but there's a event in Showcase. I'm not the organizer, just passing it along to try and help guys out that play. Mike @ Showcase would likely be a point of contact. I didn't see it posted it here for you guys.

Date: October 23rd
Time: Registration begins at 10am, Cards start flipping at 11am

-Each player must choose a faction during registration (Outcasts may be used with the chosen faction) and each encounter will be set for a 35 soul stone cost.

-All models used must be currently released to the public, no proxies. Conversions are acceptable if the initial model is present in the conversion, no exceptions.

-Models must be based and assembled. During this tournament no painting is required but a prize for best painted crew will be awarded.

-Round scoring will be based on a win lose point tally, in the result of a tie, VP will be counted at the end of the round.

-All encounters will be played on a 3x3' table. At least 18 but up to 25 pieces of scenery per board will be preset for encounters.

-Game length will be 90 minutes per round, if the game must continue past 6 turns after the 90 minute mark, one additional turn will be added before tallying VP.

-Cost of entry is 10.00

-Prizes will be awarded for First, Second, Best painted crew, and best sportsmanship.

No proxies at all? What will I do about my beloved rogue necromancy??? They don't have a model scheduled and their release schedule is set through January!
