When are we looking at V4 coming out?

Postby Border Reiver » Thu Jul 09, 2009 4:49 pm

I as because I'm leaving for a vacation on Sat and won't get any gaming in for a bit. And I have to admit that I'm curious. The results and impressions all seem to be very similar now, and Larry probably needs something new to complain about....

When V4 is coming out is a good question. There's no point writing a V3 battle report if V4 is only a few days away.

You guys are hillarious. Do you want a viable CD book, or do you want a piece of subpar crud? I'm doing my part to keep the book competitive, and you call it complaining. I'd apologize for not subscribing to the idea of CDs being awful before the ink on the virtual pages was dry and just act like we can't do a thing to save a fairly popular if not somewhat marginalized army book, except I'm a straight shooter. If something is balls, be prepared to hear about it.

I am anxious to see if point costs went down, since that's really all that's keeping the book from being just about done (besides the tweaks in magic). Can't wait to see it.

Same here. Although due to my vaction, I won't see it til Thursday. :censored:

Although I want the return of the kill zone for annihilators, in additon to those tweaks in magic, the 10+ hobgoblin archers and some of the points reductions. Generally, in the games I've played the army has performed well, it has had a distinct feel and has remained true to the fluff. The army has not been complete pants, and has been enjoyable for both me and my opponents (which for me has been the key).

What happened? I return to see a postponement, or was it a retraction?

Now while this means I can try to do a "marginal units of V3 list" for Sat (Daemoneater, sneaky gits that can't skirmish, obsidian guard), I would rather have seen the new list.
