Thanks for passing along the "invite", but what kind of team has to ask someone else to do their smack-talkin' for them? A bunch of chumps if you ask me. :rolleyes

Let the smack-crack-your-skull-take-your-lunch-money-talkin' begin. :D

I can't speak for our tried n true, GT winners & Best Generals, but their titles speak for themselves.

Personally, I'd rather save my money & go skiing & snowboarding in Colorado

Even though this is in March I am thinking about going. The Friday tournament using 100, 1000, 2250 and 3000 point armies sounds fun. If anyone else is going and wants to do the 1000 each two man team event on Sunday, let me know.

Ok all you "eastern New Yorkers",

I have officially had my club challenged by the reigning champs of this events team tournament. They also requested that I pass the same challenge to your club (all in good fun, but I'm supposed to talk the talk for them).

So Vinnie, If you have guts to try to recapture your honor against the person who took your titan at the Grove City tournament, Mike says bring it.

Maybe you could even coax some of your "dominating team" players out of retirement. Interpretation: fantasy = retirement.

Don't worry though, us Upstate'rs will be defending the pride of New York if you city folk are too afraid to attend.

OK, hopefully I was able to capture the quality of their smack talk. In all honesty, they did ask if I could help promote their event. From what I hear, it is a very well run convention. I am looking forward to attending and I know they would love to have your club also "repppprezent" (uses his best New Yorker accent).

First of all, to represent New York you have to _live_ in New York, and no, the state doesn't count, only the city... :b

As for the Grove City tournament, I'm cool with the results, I may not have won, but the guy I played sure as hell didn't win either...

Anyway, I'd rather lose with a list I wrote than win with a list I copied... ;)

*insert more humorous trash talk here*

I'll be there... And I have something special lined up for all those skimmers...

Fair enough gunslinger. Just to reiterate, I was just trying to promote the event and dig up interest with you guys. No insult intended by either myself or the members of team "SAIM HAINOUS". I'm surprised that Nidal didn't jump all over my post. He probably would have if I posted it where he could see it - the fantasy section. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you there Vinnie. I'll make sure to have the gum ready for you in the morning again (to cover up the rancid breath you'll have from the night of partying.) You just about killed me in Toronto. Although from what I heard, you almost killed yourself up there as well.

Yeah... About that...

Mistakes were made... :|

It's all a blur of beer, goth chicks, and confusing canadian terminology... But would I do it all again? :D

confusing canadian terminology
By that, Vin means "Guy" vs. "Girl". Very confusing. :o

Shaun, I'd love to go get a few games in, but unfortunately, I'm temporarily poor. (this stems directly from a visit from that everyone's favorite crazy Canadian, Will, who's also responsible for the madness revolving around Vin's Canada visit)

I must bew working too hard. I'll have to reduce my output so I can receive my next raise. Stay tuned...
Jaghatai, on the Pale Rider event: I hop on this board to post a simple NEWCC question, end up looking at some interacial lesbian action and watch a religious meltdown. You guys know how to party!

Hey .. I smack talk for myself.

I smacked talked you all a good bit last year and the year before.

I've called out Birdoff, and the rest of this club's crew.

We've grown this event from a little over 100 folks the first year to 400+ people in 3 years. You come once .. your coming back!

The event speaks for itself. 52 4-man teams last year put in the effort. Attending from all around the country and abroad. The best of the best hobby talent across the country. This year is going to be bigger and better yet again.

I just thought that any club that had a banner claiming to be the "NYC's Premiere Gaming Group" might want to consider showing up.

Consider the gauntlet thrown down and a challenge made ..

See the willing at Adepticon .....

No insult taken Shaun. It's all in fun. That's what smack-talkin' is all about.

Hank. Nice! about our banner. :lol Let's see if you ruffled some feathers with that one. I'd like to give it a whirl but I'm taking forever to repaint my 2 armies. But I'm sure I'll get one of them done by 2006
