Warmonger Card?

Postby Ancow » Tue Nov 29, 2005 10:56 am

Hey, been meaning to ask this for a while but I forgot. Last time I played/picked up some stuff at the strategist for the club I'm starting on campus, I was asked if I had a Warmonger card which apparently grants me a discount after a certain amount spent. She said to ask about getting one of these cards, so... consider this asking

George of the Dusty Guys.

Well, the discount card is for members of our club. I doubt we're going to start handing them out to outside clubs, as it's an incentive to buy more at CS.

We have an arrangement with CS to buy all our product from them in exchange for allowing us the gaming space.

If you're starting your own club, you could talk to Danny and/or Mike about setting something up for your new club. Although if you're a regular player at CS, then consider yourself a Warmonger, especially since you pay dues.

I think I know you... big guy with a shaved head? Right? I'm Lou, the dues collector/treasurer

Haha! No no no. Sorry for the gratuitous use of "Club". By club I mean "teaching 3 other people 40k and getting them started with armies, having some casual games, and eventually dragging them to CS". Not an actual due-collectin' club. Anyways, I do play at CS very frequently, and even purchase the stuff for the new players here from the CS. I do play at the CS pretty frequently ( tournements, planning on being there tomorrow even) and do pay dues. I definately consider myself a Warmonger in terms of actual clubs.

Also, I'm definately NOT the big guy with the shaved head. In fact, I'd probably be the exact opposite. Smallish guy with a whole lotta hair. I played you in the first round of a WM tournement. Alpha Recon Orks vs Thousand Sons. In other words, I'm the crazy TS player.

Jim needs to give Mike and Danny your name, I believe...

"And remember Lou, Historicals people go nuts over historical accuracy. Therefore it's critically important you quote the movie with that accent as much as possible while playing every game."
