Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't chaos dwarves show up with 7 dispel dice, a +1 to dispel, and 6 dispel stones?
That seems like too many options to me.


------------But why is this powerful? It sounds like a complete waste of points to me, I mean really 150 pts on dispel scrolls?

What do you mean +1 to dispel?

O&G can also do this, as can several armies.

I don't think that dispel it the problem, the magic is still too powerful.

I don't think anyone asked yet, but do the Daemonsmiths suffer from the same "turn to stone" malady as the High Priest, or do they avoid this since the weapon is doing the casting?

Been thinking of these guys. I agree their current cost is a bit low. I like the idea of them starting with the magic missile default spell at 100 points, then purchasing additional spells for 10ish points each, similar to how necromancers work.

A warrior priest is 95 pts and will awys be able to cast any of the prayers, while a daemonsmith does have the risk of losing the ability to cast simply because someone has access to the Lore of Metal, or a Rune of Breaking, or Vaul's Unmaking. Upping the points cost isn't necessary, as unlike the priests or a runesmith, their abilities are dependant on a magic item.

I like having 4DD standard, I would think giving DaemonSmiths another DD would be overkill. Just give HP 1DD and thats good. I think Daemonsmiths should get Arcane Items but thats just coz I think they are REALLY cool.

I think its a shame that he cant take magic weapons, my first thought was giving him the Hellfire gun and using his BS5.

I really like this character, the only problem is that he is so cool that the Slavemaster is kinda worthless. A good way to tone him down is a points increase or simply make him weaker in combat or make Slavemasters better.
