LOVE the sneaky gits rules, i think that the rules are perfect for them, and 3 poisened attacks each to your flank WILL make people notice them, like cheaper, BETTER witch elves.
A+++ on design

I can't imagine ever taking sneaky gitz. The special slot is too valuable.

A suggestion for a rules change: instead of the extra attacks if they flank\rear you, how about they get one free reform (before charges) per game. Now that would be sneaky! (and might make them worth a special slot).

I think if you want to add variety to the list, and to make these guys a viable choice. Make them unit size 5-10 scouts/skirmishers. Also up their points to like 9. That way, they can get the most out of their flank/rear charge. 10 charging rear of skeles is 28 poison! Nasty! Also skirms/scouts actually goes with the sneakyness.

Alex stole my idea! Skirmished core unit. These would be fun to play and would be effective. Also drop the animosity for them as they are trained kill teams that are used to working together. Just up the pts to 8 per model or so. I think it is a viable unit as a core troop. Make them not count as core for min purposes.

Idk if i like core, only because i like the fact specials actually make you make a decision on what to include. and with swivel guns most likely moving to a detachment anything that keeps people from auto picking 4-6 of those cheap BTs is fine by me.

Well BCs being special is big. Deathrockets don't seem so attractive to me. I could see people doing 1 BC, 1 OG, and 4 BTs a lot. The army needs a way to deal with big nasty stuff. Not sure how to go about it. Bolt thrower spam is not fun for sure.

...It doesn't feel right for a special unit...

I agree that it feels like this unit will lose the battle of attention to the other special options...

Make em a core slot...not counting for core...scout-skirmish as said above and make em 0-1

skirmishing would definitely make these a viable option.

I would like to see the "sneaky nature" of the gitz emphasised with the scouting and skirmishing rules.

This should result in an increase in their cost to around 7-8 points each (animosity and lack of missile weapons justify the lower cost than is normal for a scouting unit).

Additionally, at present the rules are missing the "Unit Size". I am presuming for the current version that they are 10+. If made into skirmishers they should be 5-10 - with no options for standard bearers.
