Should be much simpler.

Beginning of turn, the warcaster gains its focus stat, and allocates the focus to warjacks to a max of 3. and uses up his/her own focus to cast spells. Then, the warjack uses its focus (allocated from caster) to do special stuff.

Focus vs Fury

A warcaster uses Focus to cast spells*, and allocates it to his warjacks at the beginning of the round. Any unspent Focus also adds to the warcasters armor. This Focus refreshes every round.

A warlock uses Fury to cast spells*. Warbeasts generate Fury by being forced to do things**. The warlock leeches the Fury from his warbeasts at the beginning of the round to gain his Fury. A warlock can also use Fury to transfer damage to one of his warbeasts.

*This also includes boosting attack or damage rolls, and buying additional attacks.
** Charge, run, boost, use animus, power attacks, etc.

It’s generally seen as a resource vs risk system. Focus is more of a resource to use, while Fury has a bit more of a Risk factor if you try and use too much.
The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. They don't alter their views to fit the facts. They alter the facts to fit their views. Which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
