I'm a big fan of Krylon instead of the specialized hobby stuff, but I admit I haven't tried their matte varnish. Dullcote just works so well for me I've never bothered to use anything else.

Should give it a whirl though.

The Krylon stuff seems 'thicker' and a tiny bit less dull, but still definitely matte. I just did up some wraiths for Boston, and they always get trashed each tourney so we shall see how they hold up.

Pretty sure they have the Dullcote spray at the strat.

Maybe if you quit playing with a wraith bomb people would be less likely to throw them at the wall :lol:

Yeah, their scythes always get stuck on my opponents units, so they get tipped over when said units have to be removed from the table. :cry:
