bases that look as good as Wyrd but don't cost $3-8 each :'(

I may in fact be retarded and the 25mm ones will fit ontop of a 30 mm round base. Not really sure. Will ahve to get a 40k base and compare.

they do not right side up but will upside down. So you could cut them or you could look at the other links in the base thread. Some of these bases are from orther companies and I think the ebay store is more like a clearing house. So what theme are you looking for?

I need something Fuedal Japan looking and something forest looking. Also a few one off's for malifaux mercenaries that hava some character but not so distinct that they couldn't be used with other themes.

For the Japanese theme I am leaning towards this from Dragon Forge:

Seriously, I haven't even purchased the new Japanese themed crew yet and I've already seen a half dozen bamboo-based ones out there.


I exchanged some emails with the guy from Ebay Birdoff flagged above. He's interested in getting into the market and we shared some ideas about what themes would work best for Malifaux/Warhmachine. So maybe we will be getting deep jungle and tech in the near future!
