Early French GD pics

These are early pics so the photography is a bit not so great, but otherwise very nice.

A lot of European painters seem to get a 'powdery' effect on their highlights that really softens them. Is it just wet blending? It doesn't look like it to me.

I think it's wet blending. I got a similar effect with the blue on my monolith.

looks great all of them !

But they do love there purple , blue , and greens in France!
