Display base looks fantastic. You have a test model of an actual lizard? Also will there be vines, moss, overgrowth, whatever thrown in on these?

Thanks guys. I used about 10 lbs of Merlin's Magic, but I created a bunch of extras so I would guess it weighs about 8 lbs.

No test model yet. You may have noticed that I have been working on everything else possible besides painting models, which is my MO. I always enjoy it once I start doing it, but it takes a while to get psyched up for all that work. I'll probably have something in a couple weeks. My goal is to have this done for Crossroads Spring Break 2014, given my speed (slow), I need to get going.

I'll definitely be doing some vines on the temple and there will be some jungle plants around the marsh/swamp, but I have been debating about other growth. It would make it kind of hard to transport the board in an army case which is my plan. We shall see...

And like OMGZ am I tired of painting tiles! I should really get an airbrush.

this is pretty awesome, but why stop here. You could redo your floor in tiny tiles :D.

I have an airbrush and a ton of painting supplies that can be yours for the low low price of nothing with the models painted for allan discount.
