Big Plague Bearer Prince

Postby deFl0 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 10:41 pm

For my nurgle deamonic legion I think I'm going to use a stond troll model and make a big plague bearer as an exulted deamon prince.

The question is:

What do you think the best wings would be for this guy?

Based on size, I would go with the dark pegasus wings and then put holes in them to make them look more nurglesque.

I was thinking leathery wings too, but what do you think about carrion wings?

Out of place or cool?

The carrion wings are actually quite hard to work with. I think you'll be better off with the Dark Peg's.

Carrion wings have feathers on em. If you wanna go that route they might work, not sure about the scale though. They may be too small for the stone troll body.

Dark Pegasus wings would be a typical size.

If you want your prince to really strike a cutting image then I'd use dragon wings for the oversized look. This would also be more accurate for what would actually get his pustuled ass off the deck

I think the dragon wings would probably look rediculously big... They look big on my Shaggoth.

GW really doesn't have a good pair of leathery wings that are decrepid enough for nurgle. Looks like a sonversion comming on...

I think I will go with the dark pegasus wings.

Are there any ogres without pants?:o

I like the troll models. The textured skin lends itself to nurgle
