Making models look dirty

Postby -the black prince » Mon Aug 29, 2005 2:55 pm

so i've painted my squires up to an average level and decided they look too neat and clean.

I know of splattering them with a toothbrush or drybrushing with graveyard earth.

Any tips on how to dirty them up?

What about just doing some brown glazes over the bottoms of their robes or other "high-wear" areas? You could also do a red/brown glaze on their weapons to simulate rust. Doing both of those would definately "dirty" them up fast.
