He's actually heading to the Chicago Demons this weekend... not sure if he's going to compete in it or not. He's actually busy with alot of ongoing personal issues and so hasn't really been in the miniature frame of mind lately.

But give him a year and watch out! I'm sure he's going to blow us all away with whatever he comes up with.

Yes he did... and all I can say is, if he's bringing that to Chicago... they should just give him the Sword at the airport and then let him turn around and come back home.

I seriously doubt there is ANYTHING out there that can surpass what he's done.

In one word... "Phenomenal"

did he try to enter it in the 2004 UK demons? I'd heard something about it being rejected/ banned?

He did enter it in the 2k4 UK Demons... and it wasn't allowed to be entered into competition due to "religious symbology differences". Crap... I think the Brits were just scared shitless of his creativity and couldn't stand the thought of an American walking away with "their" sword. There are figures here and there throughout the history of the Golden Demons that set new standards and Victor's figure is definately one of those milestones.

Must have shown something that disparaged Lady Di.

Well, I'm a lurker here but I'd like to add something. Did you guys know that one of the frenchmen that was there and won a demon gave it to Victor Hardy ?! Yep, I think it was that much deserving ! And I saw some pictures of this model (Victor Hardy's model) and it was really beautiful. I also read last year after the UKGD that he was to probably present it in a US GD this year.
