how do you get them to stay without them peeling off...

my biggest problem with these things is that i transfer them over, wait till it dries, and as soon as it rubbs against anything, even when i store it, it kinda just crusts off...

what the heck, did i receive expired tranfers?

However, As a general rule you should always clearcoat over transfers. That will help prevent them from rubbing off

hmm, since i dont have that glosson me now, and im flat broke as of now, i guess ill paint some icons on... after checkin out that icon on Tom's Vyper i feel that i have to hand paint mine on now... (ah, the inspiration...)

(but ill use those transers for the more complex designs...)

Thanks, Simon.

I tried transfers exactly once years ago and decided that no matter how crappy my freehanding might look, I still prefer it over the way transfers look.

There is reportedly a way that you can apply transfers using a solvent/fixative routine that makes them look perfect and stay on. sells a kit for it. But it looks pretty complicated to me (although pictures of results are impressive).
