Artists are not engineers

Insane. Avant garde. 1000 liters of human biohazardous waste. It's impressive and terrifying all at the same time.

On some of the logistical weaknesses of the concept:

You KNOW that someday, that whole mess is going to tip/crack/whatever into a gallery full of gawking 8 year olds. :rollin
Jaghatai, on the Pale Rider event: I hop on this board to post a simple NEWCC question, end up looking at some interacial lesbian action and watch a religious meltdown. You guys know how to party!

Amusing publicity stunt. It'll never happen but creepy as hell and distubing to think about what they'd do if you sent them something.

Those logistics you posted don't show the half of it, Ken. Let's assume they get 100 people to... "donate" every day. Average ejaculate is 5ml, assume all is said and done they get 4ml into the creepy giant cube.

This means that someone has to sit down and open 100 tubes of rancid semen and pour them into the tank. We're talking about at least 1-2 hours worth of work here when you include fetching them and pulling them out of the biohazard mailers. (during which the tank is open and dehydrating so you're probably going to lose a lot of volume this way)

Every day. For around seven years.

It'll never happen. Not to mention that with the air space they'll have in that tank, the crap will evaporate faster than they'll collect it.

Sav: my guess is they're planning on keeping it constantly frozen, and adding new stuff as it comes.

But yeah. Even after the ickyness factor, the logistics do seem daunting
