Digital asset management

Postby Gleeptoid7 » Tue Nov 14, 2006 8:14 am

Anybody out there have any experience with digital asset management? I'm trying to find a way to set up a web based front end for our ftp server at work. It needs to be a simple as possible so even the most basic users can connect to it to download images. Ideally I'd like to set it up like a stock photography site. I cant seem to find any software for doing this though. So if anybody has encounterd anything like this could you point me in the right direction?

Every FTP server is a GUI interface to a microsoft client. Go to network places and make a connection to the FTP server, and you'll see it like anything else in my computer.

I'm sure that's not exactly the answer you're looking for, but it might help tide you over until you find a more eloquent solution.
