My guess is that Robert gets mauled this episode by the boar, and is dying but not dead, Ned confronts Cersei, and ends up imprisoned, and maybe have Robert die at the end.

This way, they can do Ned's dream if they want to incorporate it at all while in prison, and kill him off in Episode 8.

I hope Ned Starck kills all the Lannisters in one-on-one combat, becomes king, and then signs a peace treaty with the Dothraki and the show ends after the first season just to fuck with you loser fanboiz :P

They Starck family hasn't even been introduced in the books yet. A bold play!

It takes some old men six pages to notice the things being joked about page one.

The mobilization of the North, crossing at the Freys, battle of the Wolves Wood, and battle at the River with Tyrion all happen between Robert's fall and Stark's exit. If they condensed all that, and more, into one episode, I think it would fuck the series rather grandly. Not to mention what happens to Drogo during this same time frame.
(yeah, I'm trying to go back through the books before the 5th comes out)

At the end of it. I figured that's how they'd end the season.

And yeah, they've got alot to cover in the final 4 episodes, so let's see if they execute it as well as they've done the rest of the book so far.
