Tent!

Does anyone know where I can pick up a tent for cheap. It only needs to sleep 2-4, and the only requirements are that it doesn't smell or leak. Looking to spend $15-$40.

I've always felt if you're going to spend money on *anything* while camping, it should be a tent. Easiest way to not get wet if it rains. Buy something nice imo.

Also make sure its on top of a tarp with the sides rolled in a little.

Lol. I should've seen that one cumming.

If I can't find something lightly used I'll probably end up spending a bit more. I totally agree on buying something that'll stay in one piece.

All depends on what you're doing.

If you're backpacking or venturing into the actual wild for real you want to spend real money on a tent, without question. Weight and packed size are huge concerns and it could totally save your life. Buy the newest hawt shit nano-carbon aerospace designed micro habit you can afford.

If you're car camping or pitching in your backyard? A cheap tent is better for a lot of reasons. This looks like the exact tent I've owned for 15 years: http://www.kmart.com/northwest-territory-sierra-dome-backpack-tent/p-089W077231110001P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1. It's bulky and heavy and cheap - but the floor is indestructible heavy grade tarp, it's never leaked and it sets up in about 2 minutes total. It's in stock at 8th St and 34th St.

4's tight, but you could sleep 4 - there just wouldn't be much moving around. It's so cheap I'd just buy 2 for 4 people. :)

Damn that actual tent is cheaper than quite a few boner tents.
