Beastmen: how to deploy ambushers?

I don't mean tactically, I mean the actual process. The rules seem... less than fully comprehensive. Thoughts?

Well I for one think that the 'My first five deployments are in Ambush, so now deploy your entire army' interpretation is bullshit, but I am sure many beasts players will be trying it

i would say to separate the army from Ambushers and Regular Deployers and deploy as normal.

I'd treat them like scouts. When you deploy your chars, clearly everything else is ambushing. Thats more or less how it used to work. I just can't see not actually deploying something counting as a 'drop', but will let my opponent deside 'on the fly' what is ambushing.

Ya, the rule can be paraphrased as "you can ambush with some guys, and tell your opponent who you're ambushing with."

Why not? Seems like having a great book has been an excuse for a lot of people for a long time

I was. And I'm looking for anything that will make this book something other than a giant turd, and finding very little. After sitting on it for a bit, I'm just going to play it as safely as possible till the FAQ comes out. Decide before deployment starts, tell my opponent what will ambush, then deploy everything else normally.
