It's a hairy game.

And that's how they like it, apparently.

I think overall the FAQ helped the game. The skirmisher thing is odd, but skirmishing plyers (which many are) can't, as they don't wheel, just do directly at them (if im not mistaken). Nonetheless, any of you really plan on doing it with your flyers? Besides that, the new flee rules for skirmishers cleared things up, as did the no extranious charges. Frenzy units got a kick in the ass with charging though. No more screening.

This is definitely a good FAQ, except for them not admitting they goofed up the impossible charges and for saying following the rules and being a good sport are mutually exclusive on the clipping issue.

But it's GW, and they're in love with mediocrity, so I'm not suprised.

Well, really with skirmishers there's always going to be one physically closer than the rest, and a player can be wary of this.

On the other hand, one can dual charge a man-sized model, fly flyers over and hit one side with another unit hitting the other, granting a rear bonus

So will the warmongers be sliders or clippers?

I've slid where possible for the past several years at least. My feelings are that as long as both players agree to play it that way in an agreeable manner then it plays out, in essence, like an actual rule. It makes sense with the logic that is supposed to be represented on the table, and does work out much neater.

In some cases sliding is impossible to do without shifting other units because of models in the way , in which case I simply play it out as is. Gist is maximize models for charges when possible

Hopefully half the Warmongers will be sliders, and the other half will be clippers, and we'll have to settle our differences with rocks and broken beer bottles.

Which is where we typically wind up anyway if not for the same reasons.

And don't even get us started on the nuances of goblin comp! :b
Jaghatai, on the Pale Rider event: I hop on this board to post a simple NEWCC question, end up looking at some interacial lesbian action and watch a religious meltdown. You guys know how to party!

Yeah lets not go there. Nidal hasn't been in danger of being alone, surrounded and stoned since he fled his homeland
