Dipping is great if you've got over a hundred models to get done for Fantasy or 40k. What's nice about Warmachine is the model count is low enough that you can give every model its due individual attention.

You can get an incredible amount of protection by a two-step process of krylon crystal clear gloss and then testor's dullcote.

Or rather the crystal clear gives it the rock solid protection. The dullcote just keeps you from going blind when you play with em. :)

Yes, I know of this but then there's more spraying in ultra humid florida so the dipping protects AND shades at the same time. Ana has ratty spots on her still from the dull coat I gave her. I'm looking more and more at decreasing spray techniques.
