Helloo? Anyone here? Everyone doing well?

Seems I'm getting the two year itch. Found some old army lists when going through old papers, and immediately the cogs in my head started turning obsessively. Read up a little on 8th ed and it sounds like a big improvement! Soo, I might dust off the dwarves and bring them in, if anyone will take me up on a game and show me the ropes. Maybe in a week or two. Are you guys still at the Compleat Strategist? Cheers,

Nicolai

Necromancing your own thread! ;)

We're still at CS but the Fantasy crowd is well diminished by the 8e meltdown. The diehards still at it would love to have more folks to play with.

Yes, my dwarves are now undead from not having left their boxes in ages.

So howcome the meltdown? Perusing 8th makes me giddy with glee. It just looks like the game matured, like a fifteen year old suddenly turning thirty-five. Or no?

And by the way, who are the die-hards these days?

Nicolai! Welcome back!

Dwarfs are fast(ish) now! And War Machines kill better than ever! What a time to be a Stuntie.

Ah, well if Nicolai is coming back maybe I will too. Hopefully 2013 will either see my demons or maybe even my dwarfs back at the Strat.

I think your age analogy is most appropriate because it wasn't 8th so much as my family growing older that has prevented me from playing this past year or so.

If you don't remember me, I am the short guy from Sweden, and my army has the distinction of having once been called "one of the two the cheesiest armies at the Warmonger Club" by Matt Birdoff!
