Double winged shoulder pads or standard shoulder pad with raven guard logo? I can't decide if they look lop sided with only one.

Thoughts?

Single, I think. The double looks very busy.

I agree with Duncan, but I actually like the double because its OTT-ness

It's symmetry vs OTT.

For me: even one of those things is too just too much bling and breaks up the general shape of what I think a space marine should "look like". However ~ I think if you're going to use them at all it needs to be symmetrical. The standard shoulderpad just looks glaring in comparison.

Hmmm... Yeah it's a hard choice. By the nature of using elite models as the base plus the feathery bits it will definitely have an over the top feel.

That said, I have successfully started to cast raven guard shoulder pads that look really really good. So I might just use those.

I like the symmetrical winged shoulder pads, though I would reserve them for characters or sergeants. Those shoulder pads you just posted look perfect for the regular troopers.

Yeah. I decided in the end that I will be using these casted shoulder pads on troops. And Sergent and elites will be getting double feather shoulder pads. It was the poor symmetry that bugged me and brought about the question, so I think that covers all the situations.
