Flames of War 8/23?

Postby GroGacTor » Sun Aug 19, 2012 7:31 pm

Anyone want to play Flames of War at the this Thursday?

I'm working in the city again so I could make it around 6:30 or 7:00.

I have German Gebirgsjager company. I am rather new to the game though. I've been playing a bit just with my room mate after getting the 3rd edition book.

Let me know if anyone is willing to play a FoW newbie this Thursday.

Thanks.

Myself and John B. will be there playing FOW thursday night. Drop in and join us. We usually start up about 6ish. We are also going over the new ed of the rules and I think this will be my third game so far with such. We might expect another veteran player to join us as well.
We are looking forward to the new Warlord Games WW2 game Bolt Action, thats coming out very soon. Dont know if your a 28mm WW2 player as well. Once that hits we expect to rotate between FOW and that new rules system. I have a British Airbourne force that I play. So if thats something you can keep in mind if your interested.

Great, thanks, I'll see you Thursday. I don't currently play any 28mm, but it probably wouldn't be hard to get me hooked if the model counts aren't too high so I can afford to add a new game...or if I can proxy some 1/35 figures I have laying around :)

What about next thursday? I've been looking to get back into FoW with the new 3rd ED. I usually play germans myself, but can put together some russians as well. If cost is a worry, take a look at the plastic soldier company; they have a pretty good line-up of german vehicles already.

Sure, I can play again next Thursday. For the most part I'll be able to make it every week for the next few months.

OK, I'll be there 5:30 ish. We usually did LW, at the 1750 level, if that's OK for you.

Yes, late war at 1750 will be fine. I should arrive right around 6:00.

Sure, that work for me. I might bring another infantry company with more infantry and less tigers, or I might just bring the full Tiger list just for the heck of it. Haven't decided yet.

Tomorrow's looking good, if I can come up with a list I like, I'll try to bring russians.
