Removing Basing Materials

Anyone know a good way to remove static grass from a base with minimal damage to the model/base itself?

#1 flat head screwdriver. Use it like a chisel.

I used an exacto. Or tweezers. Or just spray paint right on top (Approx 20 of my VC skeletons lol)
