I think this unit should get back its access to a magic banner. (as it has in RH)

Concur with the comments about access to the magic banner.

The addition of heavy armour as standard is welcome, as is the option of chaos armour. The addition of the chaos armour greatly increases the survivability of the unit and its effectiveness. I will play a unit wit this tonight and will let you know how this turns out in a non-theoretical situation tomorrow.

Chaos Armor gives these guys the the staying power they needed, and it's worth the points to upgrade them. Very good change, and the extra hand weapon OR great weapon combo really seems like a fair tradeoff.

In the Chaos Dwarf army book Bull Centaurs are Ld 9.
In the Ravening Hordes Bull Centaurs are Ld 9.

In v.2 of this fan list Bull Centaurs are Ld 9.

I think they were Rare choice as well back then. I like the Ld8 actually. With great weapon and chaos armor, Ld9 seems too good for the points.
If I had it my way, I'd make them Stupid and Stubborn. Or am I the only one who has ever had to work with a bull?

" Like Ld 8 ? "

Feel free to use stupidity and stubborness in your armies , anyone can make their own fan list anyway.

But dont expect other people to use it.

These should definitely be LD. 8. I mean thats Elven Leadership, not exactly shoddy, and I can see it being slightly difficult to control oneself when half your body is a freakin horse!

I actually think BC are a touch underpriced in the current list. The fact they that they get all the advantages of being infantry (+2 S Great Weapons, 2+ HTH save) and still have cavalry movement... LD 9 would make them straight up OTT.
